In the early morning, we will leave Marrakech towards the gateway of the Moroccan Sahara, Ouarzazate. Along the way, we will pass by some beautiful views like the peculiar Atlas Mountains, some Berber villages, and Tizi N Tichka mountain pass which its height reaches more than 2260 meters. By the afternoon, we will be in the Kasbah of Ait Benhadou, a fortified village and a UNESCO World Heritage. Inside the Kasbah, you will be mesmerized by its oldness, uniqueness and quietness. You will be mesmerized also with the fact that the Kasbah is still inhabited by some Berber families despite its oldness. This originates to the extent to which these families stick to their heritage and their ancestral land. Also, the Kasbah is well-known for being the setting of many films such as, Lawrence of Arabia, Tea in The SAHARA, Babel, The Mummy, Prince of Persia and others. Back to the tour, as we have lunch in a restaurant close to the Kasbah, we will head to the Hollywood of Morocco, Ouarzazate. In Ouarzazate, we will visit first the Cinema studios where several famous movies have been filmed such as, Gladiator and the Game of Thrones. Then, we will explore Taourirt and Tifoultoute’s Kasbahs, which both add a touch to the beauty of the city. As we end our tour in Ouarzazate, we will travel back to Marrakech.
